Things to take care of to avoid fire in the kitchen

Fire is one of the uncontrollable elements, and it spreads the fastest. It is difficult to handle when there is a fire or the loss that happens after the fire has caught a particular place. So it is important to be safe and have your own precautions because it is difficult to tell when would need to handle a situation like fire in the future.
So it is important to be sure and safe. How can that be done? There are many ways to handle fire one of the ancient ways being water, the second being fired extinguisher which is mostly used in the kitchen and other places which will stop from the fire to spread if it's a small fire that has started. Throwing water or mud at the place is also one of the ways to reduce fire from spreading or minimizing it. Fire protection products  are also one of the options that can be used while constructing your own house or getting it repaired.  Now most of the time there are certain places that usually catch fire more than the other places. One of them is the kitchen of home or restaurant or anywhere else which is open to cook.
Kitchens are the place which is more vulnerable to catching fire as there are electricity and gas connection which is used there. So there are basic things that one can do to prevent fire. Keeping the place clean, and neat is the first thing that should be done. Keeping the kitchen clean not only for hygiene purpose, but also to avoid accidents. 
Also, it there should be a clearance of at least 20 inches from the smoke detector and the sprinkler system. Try and store all the inflammable liquids and material in a fireproof container and away in a cabinet away from the stove and the cylinder. Switch the knob off after the usage of gas is done. Also make sure that the chimney if electrical the wires  has the cable fire protection approval. It is extremely important to take certain precautions no matter if it's a restaurant kitchen, home kitchen or any other place where you decide to cook.
·         The gas should not be leaking from the cylinder.
·         Try not blocking the fire exit in any way.
·         Avoid trying tricky cooking methods if you don't have proper experience or training in it. For example deep frying, unattended stoves, etc.
·         It's important not to wear extremely loose clothes when near the stove, especially the sleeves should not be hanging loose when using the stove.
·         Do not use overloaded outlets, frayed extension cords or unsafe electrical appliances it could be harmful.
·         Fire extinguisher should be in open and should remain accessible.
These are few measures that could be taken to avoid catching fire. But one thing that should not be avoided is a call to the fire brigade if there is a fire. Also, it is extremely important to keep kids away from the kitchen especially the stove. Be safe.
